Mr. Bill Carpenter was recognized by Captain Jacqueline Twomey of the U.S. Coast Guard for his long, dedicated service SETWAC and the Sabine-Neches Waterway. 

Getting into college or training for that next career just got easier — or at least cheaper — in Southeast Texas thanks to a collaborative effort aimed at reducing tuition by an average of 25 percent by the Fall 2019 semester at three area state colleges.
